Advancing Key Priorities
It is my honor to serve on the Indianapolis City/County Council, representing District 7. During this term on the Council, we have had the challenge of managing the city through the pandemic and taking action to protect those in the city most at risk, while continuing to advance important priorities that will help our city thrive and have a more vibrant future.
For example, during this term, I have successfully:
1) Worked closely with the IMPD to address reckless and dangerous driving across District 7 and all of Indianapolis; and
2) Partnered with the Hogsett Administration to successfully add millions in additional dollars to invest in residential street repairs; and
3) Wrote and passed an update to our Complete Streets ordinance; and
4) Proposed and, with the Council’s approval, created a new Council Committee focused on environmental sustainability, which I now proudly chair.
